I started working with Chris about 4 months ago and the difference I feel and see in my daily health has been amazing. From a young age I had always been an athlete. I went from competing on a national level in swimming during high school to walking onto the Varsity Women's Crew Team at UC Berkeley. However, after a series of injuries, I quit my junior year and focused on many other things. I never thought I'd be able to go back to the level of lifting and strength I had while rowing for Cal.
This winter I decided it was time to try to get my physical fitness back into line and started training with Chris. The results have been nothing but positive. I went from strictly running and swimming, to including power lifting into my weekly routine. Every step of the way Chris has been understanding, helpful, and supportive. He knows how much to push without over doing it, prevents injuries, and makes sure its fun all along the way. In the short time I've worked with Chris I've gone from not lifting a weight in over two years to a 205 lbs. dead-lift. I not only look stronger and more lean, but I feel much more energized, and I have Chris to thank for that. Without his constant support, vast knowledge base, relatability and contagious attitude I would not be where I am today with my level of fitness. Working with Chris has shown me how much strength I can achieve and how far I will be able to push myself. I can't wait to see what else I will be able to achieve in my time in working with him!
